RECEIVING SUPERIOR AND SUSTAINABLE VALUE AS AN ADVISOR

Receiving superior and sustainable value for someone's hard work is a reasonable expectation. Achieving it, however is almost impossible when compensation is based on transactions tied to commission, which has dominated the financial services business. Ironically, the independent contractor sales people acting as insurance agents or registered representatives receive commissions for their part of the client transaction. However, the companies whose products they sell aren't making money by being rewarded with commissions but rather by managing the client assets the agents or registered representatives deliver to them! What about the quality of the HOT PRODUCTS, and is the commission really BIG. Unfortunately, the products aren't hot and the commissions don't provide fair value to the client or sales person.
